Q - What is the price range for KITCHEN Culinary Studio experiences?
A - Hands-on classes start at $59 per person. The classes are all-inclusive with a complimentary two-drink beverage service during the cooking session. All prices are subject to change, based on menu items and ingredients used. Table in a Kitchen five-course tasting dinner is $65 per person with 18% gratuity add to the bill. Beverages are not included in Table in a Kitchen. Chef’s Table private dining experience starts at $65 per person and can be customized to meet guest needs.
Q - What types of classes do you offer?
A – KITCHEN hands-on classes are focused on a variety of global cuisines, seasonal ingredients, cooking techniques, wine and beverage pairings and special occasion events, as well as custom menu options, for private classes. The class selections change monthly and offer a variety of food and cooking knowledge specific to each menu.
Q - I'm a beginner, is that okay?
A - Of course! Whether you are a novice or a seasoned cook, we have a class for you. From basic technique courses to planning and executing more complicated dishes, we have course offerings appropriate for your abilities, interests and aspirations. If you have any questions about the class you are interested in taking, please call or email us.
Q - When are classes offered?
A – Currently, there are four regularly scheduled hands-on classes per week, held every Saturday 1pm & 6pm, and Sunday 1pm & 6pm. Table in a Kitchen five-course tasting dinner is offered on Fridays at 6pm. Please refer to our calendar for specific details.
Q - How long are most classes?
A - Hands-on classes are approximately 3 hours in duration.
Q - Is there an age requirement?
A – Guests must be 21 years or older to participate in the hands-on class experiences. There is no age requirement for Table in a Kitchen five-course dinner experience. Private class or dinner experiences are subject to approval.
Q - How do I cancel a class or dinner I'm registered for?
A - Cancelling a reservation for a class or dinner must be done more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled start in order to receive a full refund. To make a cancellation, call 1-866- WIND-360 to speak with a call center representative. Online cancellations are also available. However, strict adherence to deadlines is maintained.
Q - Where are you located?
A - We are part of Wind Creek Atmore. Wind Creek is midway between Pensacola, Fla. and Mobile, Ala., right off I-65 at exit 57 (Atmore, Ala). From the hotel front desk lobby area, take the hallway to the left just past the valet, the one that leads towards the elevators. Take the first left once you are in front of the Gold Lounge. Pass the elevators on your left and continue down the hall to the double doors, located at the end of the hall. Exit the hallway from the double doors onto the sidewalk that makes an immediate right. Once you reach the pool and the sidewalk dead ends, make a left towards the next set of double doors. This is the entrance to The Spa at Wind Creek & KITCHEN Culinary . Once through the double doors the culinary hands-on classroom is located on your left. The demonstration room is located straight ahead.
How do I set up a private cooking party?
A – The KITCHEN is happy to book a private event depending on availability. Interested parties may contact group sales at 1-855-393-7227
Q - The class I want to take is full. What should I do?
A - Classes typically fill up fast, so our advice is, if you see a class of interest, book it. If your choice of class is full, we encourage you to sign a waiting list and be present 10 minutes before the scheduled class for the possibility of a cancellation.
